Artur Svensson

Artur Hjalmar Sölve Svensson (born January 16, 1901 in Finspång ; † January 20, 1984 ibid) was a Swedish sprinter and middle-distance runner .

At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924 he won silver with the Swedish team in the 4 x 400 meter relay and reached the semifinals over 400 meters .

In 1924 and 1927 he was national champion over 800 m . He was runner-up in 1923 and 1924 over 400 m, in 1926 over 800 m.
