The first fire engine built by Arve was an LF 8 , which was put into service by the Bennigsen fire brigade in March 1957 . In 1965, Arve presented a TLF for the first time in Germany with a fire pump that was hydrostatically driven. Also in the 1960s, Arve provided the fire fighting equipment for the TSF / F 35 portable pump vehicle produced by Hanomag-Henschel .

From 1973 to 1976, Arve Fahrzeugbau manufactured the interior fittings for a total of 19 Mercedes-Benz / Hanomag-Henschel (HHF) L 306 D type small fire engines for the Hamburg fire brigade .
