Ashley Clifford (born August 1, 1987 in Clermont ) is a triathlete from the United States . She is included in the best list of American triathletes on the Ironman distance .

Career

Ashley Clifford started her first triathlon in 2007 and has been a professional since 2011. From 2005 to 2010 she attended Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis .

In 2013 she qualified for a starting place at the Ironman Hawaii , where she finished 23rd. In November 2013, in Florida, she achieved the fourth fastest time ever achieved by an American woman on the Ironman distance with 8:49:03 hours.

Ashley Clifford has not appeared internationally since 2015. She lives in Orlando .
