Ashley Madekwe
Ashley Madekwe (born December 6, 1981 in London ) is a British actress . She gained fame through her role as Ashley Davenport in the television series Revenge , which she impersonated from 2011 to 2013.
life and career
Ashley Madekwe was born in London to a Nigerian and an Englishwoman . She graduated from the BRIT School with an A-Level in Drama and BTec. She also completed a year of basic training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art . She also attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts .
Madekwe began her acting career with the film Storm Damage . Since that film, she has had guest appearances on the television series Drop Dead Gorgeous and Doctors . From 2008 to 2010 she was a guest in a total of 14 episodes of the series Secret Diary of a Call Girl , in which her husband played one of the leading roles. She gained fame in the USA through appearances in The Beautiful Life . She was seen in 44 episodes of the television series Revenge from September 2011 . Her contract was not extended for a third season, however, her last appearance on the series was in the first episode of the third season in September 2013.
In June 2012 Madekwe married fellow actor Iddo Goldberg after a five-year relationship on a British country estate.
