The Asimutbreen (Norwegian for Azimut glacier ) is a small and steep glacier in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It flows first southeast, then northeast between Solhøgdene and Skuggekammen in the eastern Otto von Gruber Mountains to the Wangengeim Glacier .
It was discovered and mapped using aerial photographs by participants in the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar explorer Alfred Ritscher . A new mapping based on further aerial photographs and measurements as well as the naming took place during the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956-1960).
