Atanas Sechirow (also written Atanas Zehirov , Bulgarian Атанас Зехиров ; born February 13, 1989 in Kotschan ) is a Bulgarian football player . He has been playing for Beroe Stara Sagora in A Grupa , the highest Bulgarian league , since the beginning of 2013 .

Career

Sechirow began his career in the youth team of CSKA Sofia , where he was brought into the first team in 2009. The midfielder made his debut in the Bulgarian top division on May 2, 2009 against FC Chernomorets Burgas , where he came on in the 69th minute. The game in Burgas was won 1-0. This season he came on four more missions and scored against Lokomotive Mesdra . ZSKA was runner-up. After another autumn season in Sofia Sehirow played a spring season with OFK Sliven 2000 with which he could reach 13th place in the league.

Before that, he made his debut at European club level with CSKA. In the play-off game of the UEFA Europa League against Dinamo Moscow , he was substituted on in the 62nd minute. The game ended 0-0.

Since summer 2010 he has been back in the CSKA squad. In early 2011 he left the club to Pirin Blagoevgrad . Since the beginning of 2013 he has been playing for Beroe Stara Sagora .
