Atef bird
Atef Vogel (born April 21, 1977 in Hanover ) is a German judoka , actor and choreographer .
Life
The son of an Afghan and a German grew up in Oberhausen . Even in school he was very active in sports and won several city and district championships in judo, athletics, swimming and handball. After graduating from high school, he mainly focused on judo. Parallel to his sporting activities, he studied acting at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding and graduated in 2002 with a diploma. This was followed by various roles on television and engagements in the theater, such as Theater Heilbronn , Residenztheater Munich and Metropol-Theater (Munich) . Vogel also uses his knowledge of judo for choreographies; so he worked u. a. at the Bavarian State Theater and the Hanover State Opera as a combat choreographer and gives lectures as a lecturer in movement studies.
