Atlantic Division (NBA)

The Atlantic Division is one of three divisions of the Eastern Conference in the North American basketball league NBA and comprises five teams.

The division into divisions is based on the geographical location of the teams. In the Atlantic Division , the teams that are located near the east coast of the United States, i.e. near the Atlantic, play . The Atlantic Division has existed since 1970 with the introduction of the Conferences .
