Batmönch made his international debut at the Winter Universiade 2015 in Štrbské Pleso . The best individual placement was a 55th place over the 30 km. With the team he finished 14th. At the following Nordic World Ski Championships in 2015 in Falun , he missed the qualification for the 10 km individual race in the competition. Also in the sprint he could not prevail in the qualification.
In September 2015, Batmönch started in the Rollerski World Cup for the first time and won World Cup points in all three individual races in Val di Fiemme . In the team sprint, he and his team partner achieved tenth place. In the overall standings he finally reached rank 58. On January 4, 2016, he was 21st in the marathon in Changchun, China . In November and December 2016, Batmönch trained in Finland and competed in some FIS races there , but mostly only achieved lower placements. Shortly afterwards, he won Jargalan's home race . A day later he finished second in the 50 km marathon on the same route.
At the Winter Universiade 2017 in Almaty , he was able to achieve 29th place in the 30 km race as the best place. A little later he traveled with the team to the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti . There he finished 83rd in the 15 km race. In November 2017, he started the World Cup for the first time in Ruka and finished in 127th place in the sprint. At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , he finished 97th in the 15 km freestyle.
