The Aucher grape hyacinth ( Muscari aucheri ) is a species of plant in the genus of grape hyacinths ( Muscari ) from the asparagus family (Asparagaceae). It is rarely used as an ornamental plant.

The Aucher grape hyacinth is a perennial herbaceous plant that reaches heights of 5 to 30 centimeters. This geophyte forms onions as persistent organs. Two to three leaves are in a basal rosette. They are parallel-veined, 5 to 20 centimeters long, 0.2 to 1.5 centimeters wide, sickle-shaped, not ribbed and blue-green on top.
The racemose inflorescence is 1 to 3 inches long, 0.7 to 1.2 inches wide and also compact at the time of fruiting. There are sterile , short-stalked flowers and fertile , 1 to 2.5 mm long stalked flowers on each inflorescence. The fertile flowers have a length of 3 to 5 millimeters and a diameter of 2.5 to 5 millimeters; they are spherical to obverse-shaped and sky blue (rarely white) in color. The perigone lobes are white or pale blue.
The flowering period extends from March to April.
The number of chromosomes is 2n = 18, 36 or 37.
Occurrence
This species occurs in Turkey with the exception of the south-east and north-west parts of the country. It can be found on stony slopes, limestone gravel and mountain pastures at altitudes of 1000 to 3000 meters, sometimes together with pines ( Pinus ) and juniper ( Juniperus ).
