Aufham is a district of the municipality Schweitenkirchen in the district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm (Bavaria).

The village is located in the south of the municipality on the PAF 6 county road . In the village, a nameless creek that rises near Ampertshausen flows into the Otterbach , a tributary of the Amper .
history
Aufham was a well-known settlement even before the turn of the millennium. In the 10th century the place was called "Ufheim" ( uf = on or high). The Freising bishops owned land there.
The community Aufham was founded in 1818 with the Bavarian community edict. In 1884 the place Dietersdorf was added to the dissolved municipality of the same name, later some other districts were given up. Then the community consisted of the main town Aufham from the districts Ampertshausen , Auhof , Dietersdorf , Güntersdorf , Loipersdorf and Preinersdorf . On May 1, 1978, it was incorporated into Schweitenkirchen as part of the municipal reform.
Worth seeing
The Catholic branch church of St. Nicholas is Gothic in its layout and in its core late Romanesque .
