The excavation rises at a height of about 139  m above sea level. NHN in the corridor in the Spelbemeller north of the street Am Wehr in the Liederbach district of Oberliederbach .

It initially flows in a south-south-westerly direction for almost 100 meters on the outskirts of Oberliederbach along the Sonnengarten kindergarten through fields and then bends at right angles to the south-east. He is now accompanied by a field path between the corridors Im Spelbemeller on the left and the corridor Wickerten on the right, then through the corridor Auf dem Augraben left and Am Augraben right through fields.
