Act

The Christian social and young clerical minded Ackermann repeatedly triggered high-profile conflicts with his integralist type of pastoral care and his related political statements. In 1912 he was recalled as pastor of Welschenrohr by the Solothurn Cantonal Council , removed from his post as pastor in Obergösgen in 1926 after a popular vote and in 1931 dismissed from his church service in Sissach.
