Location of the municipality

Wolfwil is a municipality in the Gäu district in the canton of Solothurn in Switzerland .

geography

Wolfwil is located at the southeast end of the Gäu district. The village borders on the Solothurn communities of Kestenholz , Niederbuchsiten , Neuendorf and Fulenbach , the Bernese communities Schwarzhäusern and Wynau , and the Aargau community of Murgenthal .

The southern border course is largely characterized by the Aare , which must be considered as a nature conservation object of national importance (see meaning of the Aare between Wolfwil and Wynau ).
