Schwarzhäuser is a municipality in the Oberaargau administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland .

In addition to the residents' community, there is also a civic community under the name of Schwarzhäusern .

geography

Schwarzhäuser is located in Oberaargau in the Swiss plateau on the north bank of the Aare . The neighboring communities are Wolfwil , Wynau , Aarwangen , Bannwil , Niederbipp and Kestenholz .

At the south-eastern border of the municipality, the Aare is dammed for the Wynau power station.
