Roggwil is a municipality in the Oberaargau administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland.

The municipality of Roggwil is located in the Swiss Mittelland between Langenthal and Olten about four kilometers south of the Aare on the border with the cantons of Aargau and Lucerne between the two rivers Rot and Langete , which unite in the neighboring municipality of Wynau zur Murg .

Roggwil borders in the north on Wynau , in the east on Murgenthal ( AG ) and Pfaffnau ( LU ), in the south on Untersteckholz , in the south-west on Langenthal and in the west on Aarwangen .

With the art collection open to the public at Bromer Kunst, Roggwil is home to an art collection of national importance. More than 2000 works are represented, for example by Ferdinand Hodler , Cuno Amiet or Clara Porges . The Rudolf Häsler competence center is also located at Bromer Kunst .
