August Berberich
August Berberich (born March 18, 1912 in Gottersdorf , † December 12, 1982 ibid) was a German CDU politician .
Life and work
Berberich, who was a Roman Catholic , took over his parents' farm in the 1930s. During the Second World War he was a soldier and was wounded several times. After the war he became vice president of the Württemberg-Baden farmers' association.
Political party
Berberich was a member of the CDU. In the voting campaign on the education of the state of Baden-Württemberg , he was one of the supporters of the new south-western state.
MP
Berberich was a member of the district council in the district of Buchen in North Baden. From 1950 to 1952 he was a member of the state parliament of Württemberg-Baden and from 1952 to 1956 also belonged to the constituent state assembly and the first state parliament of Baden-Württemberg .
Berberich was a member of the German Bundestag from 1957 to 1972. He represented the constituency of Tauberbischofsheim in parliament.
Honors
- 1972: Great Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany
- On March 16, 1977 of his services, he was for the welfare of the community of the city in recognition and appreciation of Walldürn the honorary citizenship bestowed.
