August Köppe

August Köppe (born August 1, 1818 in Dessau ; † December 21, 1888 ) was a lawyer, minister of state and member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation .

Life

Köppe studied law in Berlin and Leipzig . From 1842 to April 1848 he was a lawyer in Dessau and then until July 1849, as the successor to the dismissed Leopold von Morgenstern, he was a member of the Ducal Anhalt State Ministry ( March Ministry ) Habicht- Koppe in Dessau. From 1849 he was again a lawyer in Dessau. He was also a member of the Anhaltisch-Dessau-Köthenschen Landtag from 1849 to 1851.

From 1867 to 1871 he was a member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation and the Customs Parliament for the constituency of Anhalt 1 ( Dessau , Zerbst ) and the National Liberal Party .
