August Machat

August Machat (* around 1823 in Bauerwitz , Leobschütz district ; † April 15, 1876 ) was a German manor owner and member of parliament.

Life

Machat studied at the University of Wroclaw . In 1842 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Breslau . He was the owner of a manor in Bauerwitz in the Leobschütz district and most recently a rentier in Breslau .

As a student, he played the beer king Gambrinus of Flanders and Brabant in the then popular Bierhof days . From 1863 to 1867 he sat as a member of the constituency Opole 8 in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the Left Center.
