August Schütte

August Schütte (born July 23, 1835 in Gandersheim , † April 22, 1894 there ) was a businessman and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Schütte attended high school in Wolfenbüttel until 1853, became a businessman and, after working for a long time in Braunschweig, took over his father's business in Gandersheim. However, he gave up the material goods trade and became a spirits manufacturer. He was a member of the city magistrate from 1878 and of the Braunschweig regional assembly from 1882 to 1887. In 1889 he built the Villa Schütte in Gandersheim.

From 1890 to 1893 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Duchy of Braunschweig 3 ( Holzminden , Gandersheim ) and the German Liberal Party .
