August von Brandt
August Ritter von Brandt (born November 11, 1834 in Schwarzenberg near Scheinfeld , † April 27, 1906 in Bamberg ) was a German local politician.
Brandt studied law in Würzburg and Heidelberg . In 1856 he entered the Bavarian civil service and in 1876 he became an assessor in the Upper Franconian government. From 1877 to 1905 he was the full-time first mayor of Bamberg.
