August von Seltzer
August Rudolf Wilhelm von Seltzer (* 1811 ; † 1877 ) from 1867, nicknamed Stahn, was a Prussian administrative lawyer .
Life
Seltzer began his professional career in 1835 as a government trainee in Königsberg (Prussia) and worked there from 1839 as a government assessor. Then he was in Friedeberg / Nm. active and worked as a councilor in the Gumbinnen government since 1847 . From 1852 to 1856 August von Seltzer was the police director in Elbing . From 1856 he was employed as a councilor in Poznan and from 1867 in Bromberg . There he twice represented the district president who had fallen ill (1874). In 1876 Seltzer a. D. posed.
