Augustissimam beatissimi is an encyclical written by Pope Gregory XVI. which was published December 21, 1840.

The Pope recalls the devastating fire in the Patriarchal Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls in Rome . He expresses his gratitude for the partial reopening, the inauguration and the ongoing reconstruction. In addition, the Pope calls for further support and asks for financial help.
