Augusto Béguinot (born October 17, 1875 in Paliano , Province of Frosinone , † January 3, 1940 in Genoa ) was an Italian botanist with the official abbreviationBég. ".

Life

Béguinot studied science in Rome , then taught in Padua , Ferrara , Sassari , Messina , Modena and Genoa . In 1925 he founded the journal Archivio Botanico , of which he was editor until 1939.
