resume

Augusto Frota is originally from Fortaleza ( Brazil ) and later moved to Brasília , where he started training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ). He was only under the wing of Admilson Brittes, a black belt under Royler Gracie. At this time Augusto took part in various regional and national tournaments, from which he often emerged victorious.

On his return to Fortaleza , he began to train with Marcus Aurelio , one of the founding members of the now world-famous American Top Team . Augusto got the chance to complete his Bachelor in International Business in Fort Lauderdale ( Florida , USA ). In Florida he met the man who would completely change his athletic career. This man was Antonio Noguiera "Minotauro", a star and world champion in Pride FC in Japan and also until recently heavyweight world champion of the UFC in the USA and has legendary status as a martial artist. Under Noguiera, Augusto refined his technique and trained hard.

When the opportunity arose to work for UBS in Switzerland , Augusto moved from sunny Florida to Zurich . Here he opened his own Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school, and a short time later he received his black belt from Antonio Noguiera. In addition to his work, Augusto repeatedly competed in international competitions at professional level in mixed martial arts. He has already achieved successes in England, Holland, Japan and Scotland. Several victories in Shooto [Holland], [Scotland], Switzerland and Japan go to his account, in Glasgow and Belfast he was able to achieve a double victory in Cage Wars .
