Aureillac is a former French commune in the department of Gard . Today it belongs to the municipality of Arpaillargues-et-Aureillac .

Arpaillargues is a hamlet in the municipality of Arpaillargues-et-Aureillac and is located west of Uzès at the intersection of the D 982 and D120.

history

After the French Revolution , the place first formed an independent municipality with the code Insee 30014. This first belonged to the canton of Montaren and the arrondissement of Uzès. In 1801 it was incorporated into the canton of Uzès . By merging with Arpaillargues in 1813, the new municipality was named Arpaillargues-et-Aureillac.
