Arpaillargues is a former French commune in the department of Gard . Today it belongs to the municipality of Arpaillargues-et-Aureillac .
geography
Arpaillargues is the capital of the newly formed municipality Arpaillargues-et-Aureillac and is located west of Uzès on the D 982. In the district is the Mairie of the municipality.
history
After the French Revolution , the place initially formed an independent municipality. This first belonged to the canton of Montaren and the arrondissement of Uzès. In 1801 it was incorporated into the canton of Uzès . When it merged with Aureillac in 1813, the new municipality was named Arpaillargues-et-Aureillac.
