The Authenbach is a left tributary of the Nussbach in the Rhineland-Palatinate Donnersbergkreis, almost a kilometer long .

The Authenbach rises in the natural area of ​​the Moschelhöhen in the North Palatinate mountainous region at an altitude of 287  m above sea level. NHN in a green strip on the western slope of the hill Eben Hell ( 333.2  m ) west-southwest of the municipality Rockhausen belonging municipality Rathskirchen , but in the field belonging to the same community association municipality souls .

It initially flows just under 150 m northwards through fields and meadows, then passes the municipal boundary to Rathskirchen and is then fed about 200 m downstream in the Woogwiesen corridor on its left side from the Hahnenbach coming from the southwest .

The Authenbach then runs north-northeast through grassland and finally flows into the Nussbach coming from the south-southeast at an altitude of ( 268  m ) south-south-east of the Rathskirchen district of Rudolphskirchen .
