The Waltersdorf triangle is a fork in the motorway from the A 113 to the A 117 in the Dahme-Spreewald district . The A 113 runs from the Schönefelder Kreuz in the south to the northwest to the Neukölln triangle to Berlin-Neukölln and the A 117 runs from the Waltersdorf triangle north to the Treptow triangle in the Treptow-Köpenick district of Berlin .
The main route is the A 113, which swings to the northwest and the A 117 branches off to the north.
The Waltersdorfer Dreieck is a hybrid of a trumpet-shaped motorway triangle and a motorway fork . Coming from the A 117 it is possible to turn onto the A 113 towards Dreieck Neukölln and Berlin city center. However, if you drive on the A 113 in the direction of the Schönefeld motorway junction, you cannot turn onto the A 117.
Before the extension of the A 113 to Berlin in 2008, the Waltersdorf junction was located on the former federal highway 179 . With the completion of the A 113, the B 179 was downgraded to the L 400 and the exit was integrated into the triangle.
The closest communities are Schönefeld and Schulzendorf as well as the city of Königs Wusterhausen and the Berlin district of Treptow-Köpenick. To the east lies the Schönefeld district of Waltersdorf , after which the triangle is named, and to the southwest is the district of Kiekebusch . To the northeast is Berlin-Schönefeld Airport , which is currently being expanded to become Berlin Brandenburg Airport , and immediately to the east is the Waltersdorf Business Park.
