The Poznań-Komorniki motorway junction ( Polish : Węzeł autostradowy Poznań-Komorniki ) is located southwest of the Polish city of Poznań in the Greater Poland Voivodeship . It connects the Polish A2 motorway , the S11 expressway and the 5 national road .
history
The construction of the junction took place in 2003 together with the construction of the section of the A2 between the Poznań-Komorniki and Poznań-Krzesiny junctions. Until June 3, 2012, this junction represented the western end of the Poznań southern bypass, but currently this is the Poznań-Zachód junction .
Current status
The following directions are available:
- A2 motorway and S11 expressway westwards to Poznań-Zachód
- A2 motorway, S11 expressway and S5 expressway in an easterly direction to Poznań-Krzesiny
- State road 5 in a southerly direction to Breslau
- 196 Voivodship Road north to the city center of Poznan
Others
The junction was originally only called Komorniki motorway junction and was so named because of the location Komorniki . In 2012 the name was changed to Poznań-Komorniki motorway junction . The scheme of the knot is the shamrock . The node consists of a bridge structure.
