The Poznań-Krzesiny motorway junction ( Polish : Węzeł autostradowy Poznań-Krzesiny ) is located southeast of the Polish city of Poznań in the Greater Poland Voivodeship . It connects the Polish A2 motorway , the S11 expressway and the national road 11 .
history
The construction of the junction took place in 2003 together with the construction of the section between the Poznań-Komorniki and Poznań-Krzesiny junction of the A2. Until June 4, 2012, this junction represented the end of the Poznań southern bypass, but currently it is the Poznań-Wschód junction .
Current status
The following directions are available:
- Motorway A2, expressway S5 and expressway S11 in a westerly direction to Poznań-Komorniki
- Motorway A2 and expressway S5 in an easterly direction to Poznań-Wschód
- Voivodship Road 433 in a northerly direction to the center of Poznan
- Expressway S11 south to Kórnik
Others
The junction was originally only called the Krzesiny motorway junction and was so named because of the Krzesiny district of the city of Poznan . In 2012 the name was changed to the Poznań-Krzesiny motorway junction . The knot is made up of a clover leaf and consists of two bridge structures.
