The Autodromo Nazionale di Franco Suni , also known as Autodromo di Mores is a permanent racing circuit in the Italian town of Su Sassu near the village of Mores in the province of Sassari in Sardinia .

history

The circuit was designed by Pier Luigi De Biasio based on the ideas of the Italian racing driver Uccio Magliona . Construction of the racetrack began on July 15, 2000, and the opening took place on March 15, 2003. The circuit is named after Marchese Franco di Suni, long-time president of the Automobile Club Sassari.

The racetrack runs counter-clockwise, is 1,650 meters long and 12 to 14 meters wide. It has 9 curves, 5 of them to the left and 4 to the right.

National automobile and motorcycle championship races take place on the racetrack, and the racetrack is a popular section of various rallies .
