The Ava da Stugl ( German : Stuglbach , formerly Stulserbach) is an approximately ten kilometer long right tributary of the Albula in the Swiss canton of Graubünden . It flows through the approximately nine kilometers long Val da Stugl , a valley with extensive alpine meadows.
course
The longest source stream rises at about 2670 m above sea level. M. a little northwest and above the Ducanfurgga ( 2666 m above sea level. M. ) and joins early with further source streams.
It initially flows in a south-westerly direction, then after the Alp da Stugl in a westerly direction. At the height of Stugl there is a water intake of the Albula-Landwasser power plants , which feeds part of the water to the Filisur power plant . Below the village, the Ava da Stugl flows through a wooded, steep and narrow gorge before it joins the Albula from the right.
