history
Bärenklause-Kautzsch was created in 1935 from the merger of the previously independent villages Bärenklause and Kautzsch . Administrative affiliation was initially with the Dippoldiswalde administration and was transferred to the Freital district in 1952 . In 1957, the neighboring community of Babisnau was incorporated. On March 1, 1994, Bärenklause-Kautzsch was dissolved through the incorporation of all three parts of the community into Kreischa, which have since been their own districts.
