The bear head is a 1991 m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Rauer Knöll branch in the southeastern Karwendel south of Pertisau am Achensee in Tyrol .
Mountain hikers reach the summit in an easy three-hour hike from Pertisau ; a few meters west below the summit plateau, a rock step and another section of the path are secured with ropes.
