The Büğdüz were a oghusischer tribe.

Mahmud al-Kāshgharī mentioned them under the name Bügdüz as one of the 24 Oghuz tribes. As a totem animal they had a saker falcon . Their tribal name means in Old Turkish the one who is humble and serves .
