The sign of the Eymür

The Eymür were an Oghuz tribe.

Mahmud al-Kāshgharī mentioned them under the name Eymür as one of the 24 Oghusian tribes. As a totem animal , they had a tree hawk . Their tribal name means in Old Turkish in the best of condition .
