İğdir
The İğdir were an Oghuz tribe.
Mahmud al-Kāshgharī mentioned them under the name İgdir as one of the 24 Oghuz tribes. They had a hawk as a totem animal . Their tribal name means beneficence or heroic deed in Old Turkish .
