The Alkaevli were a oghusischer tribe.
Mahmud al-Kāshgharī mentioned them under the name Alka-Bölük as one of the 24 Oghusian tribes. They had a kestrel as a totem animal . Their tribal name means in Old Turkish the one with the white tent .
