As Büche stretching a will pass ( 651 m above sea level. NHN ) in the Black Forest between Elzach in Elztalhotel and Gutach (Schwarzwaldbahn) in Gutachtal designated.
The state road L 107 leads from Gutach (Black Forest Railway ) over the Büchereck pass and the slightly lower Landwassereck ( 630.6 m above sea level ) with the inn to Oberprechtal and on to Elzach.
Location and surroundings
There is a parking lot for hikers at the top of the pass, and the Büchereckhütte is about 200 m north .
To the north of the pass is the Scheibeneck ( 653.3 m above sea level ), south of the Hundseckle ( 790.3 m above sea level ), both north and south of the pass there are Baroque jumps from the end of the 17th century.
The Westweg , part of the European long-distance hiking trail E1 , crosses the road over the Büchereck.
Every year on the last Sunday in August, the Büchereck is the venue for the Buchereck Festival of the same name organized by the Gutach Black Forest Association.
