Bünyamin Süral (born September 1, 1961 in Nizip ) is a former Turkish football player and coach.
Player career
Süral started his career at Gaziantepspor . In his debut season he played in eleven games and became a regular in his second season (1982/83). Despite the long service time, the season with the relegation from the Süper Lig was also a disappointment. He stayed one season at Gaziantepspor and moved back to the Süper Lig at Malatyaspor in the summer of 1985 .
In Malatya he was immediately a regular player and was with the team in his first year 13th and in the following season 6th place. His achievements sparked interest in the big clubs. Beşiktaş Istanbul signed the defender before the 1988/89 season. In Istanbul Süral failed to become a regular player and only played 18 league games in two years. By winning the Turkish Football Cup , he and his teammates won their first trophy at national level.
In the summer of 1989 Bünyamin Süral returned to Gaziantepspor. The 1989/90 season he finished with the team in 1st place in the 2nd division and secured promotion to the Süper Lig. 1992 he ended his active career.
Coaching career
Süral trained his home club Nizip Olympiat Belediyespor at the beginning of his coaching career . This was followed by engagements at Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor , Malatyaspor , Cizrespor and Batman Petrolspor . In the 2006/07 season Süral was assistant coach at Gaziantepspor alongside Walter Zenga . The following summer he coached the youth of Gaziantepspor. During the 2007/08 season, after Mesut Bakkal's dismissal, he took over the 1st team for a month and thus made his debut as head coach in the Süper Lig.
Süral took up his next position as head coach in January 2009 at Gaziantep BB and was fired ten months later. A year after his release, Gaziantep BB took over for the third time and had to leave the club after four months.
