The steam locomotive series SB 3a was a tank locomotive series of the Austrian Southern Railway (SB).

The four small tank locomotives were from the Southern Railway for local traffic 1884 / 85 of the locomotive factory Floridsdorf procured. Two more pieces came to the BBÖ in 1923 when the routes of the southern railway located in Austria were nationalized, which were designated as  385.01-02 . They were retired in 1928 and 1930 . A machine came to the Alpine in their factory in Kindberg .
