Bachelors Of Science is a British - American drum and bass trio consisting of Phil "Rene" Collis, Chris Doe (DJ Focus) and Lukeino Argilla.

Band history

Originally from the UK, they both met in 2000 in San Francisco , California , laid down at top DJs like Basement Jaxx , DJ Marky , Reid Speed , Brian Gee , Bailey, LTJ Bukem , Grooverider , Annie Mac , High Contrast , Doc Scott , DJ Flight , Alix Perez , as well as various other performers and formed a professional band in 2006. They were a very short time Underground - top act in the field of drum and bass. Her debut album Science Fiction on the Horizons Music label was released in 2008. In 2009 Bachelors Of Science received the Beatport Award for Best Drum and Bass Track for the Apex (William Stanberry) remix " Strings Track " . The duo mainly specializes in the sub-genre Liquid Funk . Currently they have released three albums (all with Horizons Music ), eleven singles and various remixes since they were founded . They appeared at the Love Parade , the Ministry of Sound , Hospitality , Burning Man , BBC Radio and the Wereld Muziek Concours , among others .
