The Bachwiesengraben is a one kilometer long brook in Lower Franconia that flows into the Main from the left when coming from the west-southwest .

course

The Bachwiesengraben is created in the southwestern Maindreieck on the Marktheidenfelder Platte in the natural area 132.01 Eisinger Höhe in the Margetshöchheimer Wald at an altitude of about 210  m above sea level. NN in the Bachgrund corridor directly north of the boundary between Zell am Main and Margetshöchheim and south of the Bachwiese path .

The Bachwiesengraben initially runs northeastwards, but more and more east-northeast along the aforementioned valley path on the left bank and the row of houses accompanying it on the left foot of the slope through a narrow valley. Its right slope Scheckert is wooded for a long time, the left above the houses and under the Bachellern and Langellern tubs has been a bushy wine or fruit-growing area almost from the start. Shortly before the end of the valley, the brook crosses the Veitshöchheim main bridge on the Hanover – Würzburg high-speed line and the St 2300 state road and finally flows below Mainkilometer  245 in the 133.02 Maintal nature area near Veitshöchheim in the south of Margetshöchheim at an altitude of 168.5  m above sea level. NN from the left into the Main flowing in from the south .
