Baderode is a desert near Walbeck in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz in the state of Saxony-Anhalt . The village was on the Walbke stream .

history

  • On June 30, 1177, the Roßleben monastery owned seven hooves in Baderode (called Boderoth ), which brought in one talent and four shillings . Along with Alterode, these belonged to the foundations of Ludwig von Wippra and his wife Mathilde.
  • The Roßleben monastery left the Hecklingen monastery for 22 semi-urban marks, 22 hooves of wood and one hoof of land in Baderode (called Buderode ). Probst Alexander and prioress Gisela of the Roßleben monastery testified to this on October 11, 1272. On the same day, the monastery governors and brothers Albrecht and Ludwig von Hackeborn gave up their ownership of these properties.
  • In 1295 a piece of wood near the village (called Badderode ) was given to the Wiederstedt monastery by the monastery governors Albrecht and Ludwig von Hackeborn .
  • According to Hermann Großerler , the village was called Buderode in 1335 .
  • In addition to Ritterode , Iwerode , Endorf, Nieder- Welbsleben , Quenstedt and Wilrode, Baderode (called Vadderode ) from the Arnstein reign was sold by the Counts of Regenstein on July 13, 1387 to the Counts of Mansfeld .
  • On July 26, 1486, Baderode was, in addition to Wolfshagen and Dentzerode, an accessory from Arnstein in the feudal letter from Duke Albrecht of Saxony to the Counts of Mansfeld.
  • On December 9, 1518, Duke Georg of Saxony enfeoffed the Counts of Mansfeld with the desert Baderode.
  • According to Cyriacus Spangenberg , Baderode was a large village surrounded by ditches and probably also a church village. A sheep farm was built in the desert, which later became a desert. Spangenberg could still see the Baderöder Born brook flowing, which had dried up today.

Village hallway

The village corridor was bordered in the east by the Walbke , in the south by the Willeröder corridor border and in the west by the road between Walbeck and Willerode. The northern limit is unknown.
