Badminton European Cup 2006
The 29th edition of the European Badminton Cup took place in 2006 in La Rinconada, Spain. The host team, CB Rinconada , made it to the finals and defeated the French champions Issy-les-Moulineaux Badminton Club with a clear 4-1. But after it turned out that the Spaniards were fielding a player who was not eligible to play, the title was revoked and awarded to the French. The Portuguese club UD Santana and the Ukrainian club SC Meteor Dnjepropetrovsk came in second . The German master decided not to take part in the competition.
