Badminton European Cup 2000
The 23rd edition of the competition took place in Eindhoven , the Netherlands . The host club Velo BC van Zundert made it to the semi-finals, where they failed against the Swedish champion Fyrisfjäder Uppsala . These in turn were subject to the Danish club Kastrup-Magleby BK in the final . For the Swedes it was the first of four consecutive finals that they all lost. The Danes returned the favor for the semi-final defeat last year to the German club BC Eintracht Südring Berlin , who were unable to defend their title.
