from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 8th edition of the European Badminton Cup took place for the second time in 1985 in the German city of Mülheim an der Ruhr . The winner for the sixth time was the Danish favorite Gentofte BK , who beat the defending champion from Sweden BMK Aura Malmö 7-0 in the final . With this, the Danish club managed to take revenge from last year. Surprisingly, the Penarth BC was a Welsh representative in the semi-finals, one of the most successful clubs from this country.
