Badminton European Cup 2003

The 26th edition of the European Badminton Cup took place for the second time in 2003 in Uppsala, Sweden . In front of their home crowd, the host team Fyrisfjäder Uppsala hoped to finally win the title. But again they were defeated in the final by the Russian team Lok Rekord Moscow . The Swedes lost the final for the fourth time in a row. For the first time since the introduction of the competition in 1978, the German champion decided not to participate.
