Baebius

Baebius (female form Baebia ) was the noun of the gens Baebia , a plebeian family in the Roman Empire . The most important branch of the family that emerged from the Second Punic War formed the Baebii Tamphili during the era of the republic . The two brothers Gnaeus and Marcus Baebius Tamphilus served in 182 and 181 BC. Successively as consuls .
